"Mixed feelings after firstly visiting this place. Although, due to how hungry I was, I ate the whole portion - Kotopoulo Lemonato - I didn't feel well after the meal because I kept thinking about the feather I found in it (visible in the attached picture of this dish). Even if I felt nauseous for hours, I gave the place a second shot as I was unable to find many restaurants with great food in the area, and the Kotopoulo Lemonato actually tasted good. The following visits were great, no visible unpleasant surprises. The lamb chop with garlic, rosemary and mustard seed sauce was flavourful and well cooked. Still, while I enjoyed it once, it wasn't remarkable enough to make me want to order it again. My dining partner was satisfied with the experience and said they'd gladly reorder: the rib-eye with parmesan garlic potatoes and the fresh pasta with mussles and shrimp. I must mention I was delighted by Constanta's old style street food: Suberek. Also, the Neoneaosh cocktail is a must try."

"We loved this place so much we had to return the next day. Popina is a very relaxed atmosphere restaurant in a quiet area of Constanta, located in a beautiful villa. We enjoyed lunch and dinner on the terrace both times and appreciated the friendly staff, chill vibes but especially the food! Such a wonderful mix of all the local dobrogean goodies. My personal faves the seabass and the fish mici. I really hope to be able to experience this whole vibe again! Oh, and I their instagram page! So gorge!"

"As others said, the place is very cosy. We sat outside and it felt like being in someone’s backyard. The food was great, I had a lemon chicken and a date and cinnamon cake with 1 cantaloupe ice cream scoop. Delicious! The service was also amazing, very respectful and helpful. Would definitely come back!"
